At 11p.m., the center of Tropical Storm Grace was located near latitude 14.0 degrees North, longitude 39.2 degrees West, about 1480 miles east of the Lesser Antilles. Grace is moving toward the west near 20 miles per hour, and this general motion is expected to continue over through Wednesday.
Maximum sustained winds have decreased to near 40 miles per hour with higher gusts. Additional weakening is forecast during the next 48 hours, and Grace is forecast to become a tropical depression on Tuesday, according to National Hurricane Center.
Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 45 miles from the center.
The National Hurricane Center will issue its next complete advisory at 5 a.m. on Tuesday.
